The target group for the ITIL Intermediate SO/CSI Certificate includes, but is not limited to, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), IT managers and supervisory staff, team leaders, service designers, IT architects, IT planners, IT consultants, IT audit managers, and IT security managers.
Prerequisites: Preferably ITIL Foundation, but no required. To be eligible for taking the ITIL Intermediate SO/CSI examination, the candidate should take the training with our partnered accredited training organization. Basic IT literacy and approximately two years of IT experience are highly desirable. Applicants should hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (or other appropriate earlier ITIL and bridge qualifications). Candidates should complete minimum hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the ITIL Service Operation publication in preparation for the examination (and/or specifically IT Service Management as a Practice).
CERTIFICATION AND EXAM FORMAT
After ITIL Training course, candidates are eligible to take ITIL Intermediate (SO, CSI) level Certification by AXELOS
To be eligible for taking ITIL® Intermediate /CSI examination, the candidate must fulfill the following requirements. Undergo minimum required hours of instruction, excluding breaks, with an Accredited Training Organization and accredited e-learning self study for this syllabus, as part of a formal, approved training course.
A basic IT literacy and approximately two years IT experience are highly desirable.

- 40 questions, as set up
- 26 marks required to pass (out of 40 available) – 65%
- 60 minutes’ duration
- Closed book.
